Hypervision Surgical continues to attract new talent and welcomes its first intern.
Xiaoyu Zhao is an MEng student in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London and brings over three years of R&D experience in biomedical Raman spectroscopy imaging and analysis. As part of her research, she worked on developing novel surgical technologies for real-time tissue analysis to aid intraoperative decision-making, such as the removal of microscopic ovarian cancer residues that the human eye cannot detect.
At Hypervision Surgical, Xiaoyu will closely work with surgeons and the wider R&D team to develop its hyperspectral imaging technology for real-time intraoperative tissue characterisation.
Hyperspectral imaging is a remarkable advance in the field of medical imaging, and I truly believe Hypervision Surgical possesses the full potential to change the future of surgical vision. I am so thrilled to participate in this exciting journey.
— Xiaoyu Zhao
It’s a pleasure to welcome Ms Zhao as our first intern at Hypervision Surgical to help us further develop the intraoperative vision capabilities of our real-time imaging system.
