Hypervision Surgical has grown its team; Dan joins as a product intern.
Dan completed a BA at the University of Pennsylvania in Neurobiology and is an MD candidate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (NYC). He is completing his MBA & MPP at the University of Oxford as a Pershing Square Scholar.
Previously, Dan worked for a novel cancer diagnostics social enterprise that received the Oxford Vice-Chancellor’s Innovation Award. He was an MBA venture consultant with Creative Destruction Lab and helped start an entrepreneurship group, start@ox, to build an ecosystem for entrepreneurially minded members at academic centres, which received partnering resources and support from AWS and Y Combinator.
He is also interested in surgical care delivery around the world. He has built out the policy case for social enterprises in East Africa and worked on new demand forecasting models for a US venture-backed company.
At Hypervision Surgical, he will work with clinicians and healthcare providers to capture customer voices and streamline product development in close collaboration with the R&D team for downstream commercialisation.
I am excited to work on a transformational imaging system that will augment surgical decision-making and improve care for patients.

Following the collaboration with Dan as part of a Creative Destruction Lab consulting project, I am delighted to have him join Hypervision Surgical and further increase the focus on customer-centred product development.
