Hypervision Surgical has grown its team, with Richard Miles joining as a Senior Software Engineer.
Richard studied Mechanical Engineering as an undergraduate before specialising with a Master’s in Clinical Sciences & Engineering at KCL as part of the NHS Clinical Scientist Training Programme.
He brings a range of valuable experience to the team, having worked in the NHS, academia and industry over the past decade. He has previously worked as part of the software team at a university spin-out company, translating a novel MRI analysis technique into a fully certified medical device.
At Hypervision Surgical, Richard will leverage his expertise in medical software engineering to migrate our prototype system, which we successfully tested in patient studies, into a commercial medical device.
I’m looking forward to working with our fantastic team to get our technology into the hands of clinicians and improve patient outcomes.
— Richard Miles
We are delighted to welcome Richard to our team. His background in developing software as a medical device will further accelerate the development of our technology towards commercial readiness following stringent regulatory requirements.
