Hypervision Surgical has been selected for Upscale 2026, Tech Nation’s growth programme for the UK’s most ambitious post-Series A scaleups. The cohort was announced at Mansion House on 21 September 2026. Hypervision is one of 25 companies in the eleventh cohort, which together have raised £465.7 million in equity funding and employ 1,352 people.
Upscale runs over three months and is built around the challenges specific to the Series A to Series B stage — scaling operations, building leadership teams, entering new markets and managing growing financial complexity. It combines expert-led sessions with peer support from founders working through the same decisions at the same time. More than 300 companies have come through the programme, and its alumni have collectively raised over $9.6 billion.
Hypervision Surgical received FDA 510(k) clearance for the HYPERSNAP® Surgical System in July 2025 — the first intraoperative platform to combine hyperspectral imaging with AI-powered analytics — and closed a £17 million Series A in April 2026.
The questions in front of us now are scaling questions — commercial, clinical and organisational — and they are different from the ones that got us here. Upscale gives us access to founders and operators who have already worked through them. We’re looking forward to the programme, and to the companies we’ll be going through it with.
